Training Going Well

20th September 2017
Over the last month there have been a number of training walks... the last one was over 10 miles. So far we have had really good weather for the walks and fingers crossed it holds for Sunday!!

2nd Training Climb

22nd August 2017
Pen-y-Ghent was successfully climbed - the views were stunning and thankfully the hurricane promised by the Met Office blew out over the Atlantic. Climbers on Sunday included Karen Whipday who ensured that a piece of her Mum made the summit.

1st Training Climb

8th August 2017
Sunday the 6th August and the 1st training climb with a month to go; all the work so far has been in the gym on the treadmill - nothing like the scenery of Ingleborough and the beauty of the dales. A massive achievement for Launa Whipday as it was her 1st big climb - and the conditions weren't great... so a massive hats off to her!!!
